Kill a creature with a 360 no scope
Half the player base has this one, and there’s a reason: the 360 spin isn’t just an achievement, it’s a killscore multiplier that raises the sale price of every catch. The game is quietly training you to do it for money. Here’s the setup that makes the achievement itself trivial.
The Setup
- Get any gun. The starter Pistol is enough — the reference runner unlocked it pre-shotgun.
- Pick a cheap, slow target. A Sunfish summoned with a beginner boss lure is the proven choice; regular fish work too. No boss required — bosses just add health and risk.
- Damage it until one more shot kills. Keep some open space around you.
- Stay in hip-fire view. Aiming down sights at any point in the shot voids the “no scope” half.
- Spin a full 360 — start and end facing the target. Use a landmark behind the fish to confirm a complete rotation.
- Fire the killing shot the instant the spin completes.
Why It Silently Fails
The spin detection is strict, and the reference run has the failures on camera: “Oh, I didn’t get the 360 off of it” … “Was that not a 360? That wasn’t a 360 either.” The usual causes:
- Stopping a few degrees short. A near-360 gets nothing. Some players jump while spinning to keep the turn clean — unconfirmed, but cheap to try.
- Scoping in on reflex for the final shot.
- The fish dying to earlier damage instead of your spin shot.
And don’t bother with a 720 — asked on stream, the answer was “No, just 360.” There’s only one tier.
Keep Using It After the Unlock
The same trick keeps paying: 360 and no-scope kills stack multipliers (one kill in the reference run registered “360 overkill no scope”) that raise sale prices game-long. That income matters for the Rich! Millionaire grind and the Bean speedrun, where trick shots on every creature are part of the money route. A laser sight attachment helps hip-fire accuracy if you’re doing it at range.
